Rights superior to the labour legislation are agreed upon in collective agreements. In most Pro fields, such rights include a three-month maternity leave, paid paternity leave and holiday pay and shorter working days before mid-week holidays.

A full-time employee or an employee whose working hours exceed 75% of the working hours of a full-time employee in the field can have alternation leave. The alternation leave legislation will be subject to changes in 2014.
